About Us
The Delaware Society of Urban Professionals (DSUP) is a new community of individuals organized around a common purpose: cultivating the next generation of Delaware’s leaders and business people. Of course, that begins with extensive networking and connecting with each other, learning how to advance ourselves professionally and immersing ourselves in our respective communities.
Delaware ranks in the top ten states with the highest percentage of African-Americans (21% of the total state population), and it provides a wealth of opportunities for professionals of color. The DSUP will host professional development seminars, social events, and political/civic opportunities. As we grow, we hope to build a network of individuals that are primed to lead, change and grow the First State.
So, whether you’re arguing in a courtroom, running your own business, filming a documentary or preparing to run for office (someday), the DSUP is the place to learn, connect and develop.
